I’ve been noticing how easy it is to turn God into an idea—something abstract, a concept to debate or define. When we do that as a church, we’re not so different from our non-Christian neighbors talking about “the Universe.”
As I read and journey with Him, I try to notice not just what He is like, but what He does. How He shows up—not as a theory, but as Someone living and moving.
This little list came out of that noticing. It’s not complete or polished. Just some of the verbs of God—action-words I’ve seen Him carry in the stories of His people.
I wonder how these land with you. Do they stir anything in you—or maybe even feel different from what you’ve known?
